Core NHS funding for a practice follows its list. The Global Sum pays per weighted patient: each patient is weighted for age, sex and need, so one new registration can count for more or less than one.

If the report shows your list slipping, we can do the work for you. Every month we show you the result against NHS England's own figures.
We work with practice managers and GP partners. We are independent: not part of the NHS, and we never use patient-level data.

Registration figures come from NHS England's monthly publication, Patients Registered at a GP Practice. Each one shows the release it comes from.
Do you need access to patient records?
No. We never use patient-level data. Everything we report comes from published, aggregate figures.
